Fixing up the long neglected photo album… update the gallery software to version 2.2.1 - realised that there’s been some broken links and correcting them is turning out to be a real challenge!!

Managed to put in place the watermark… can still be improve no doubt and good enough for now.
Restarted the scanning of old negatives, especially the 20+ rolls from vacation in the UK and Paris. Wonder how long the drive to finish can be maintained… since I’m putting in this much effort, might as well do a good job in the photo touch up in Photoshop.

Major WOW!! Factor.
This IS the camera that I had been waiting for since the 1st release of Canon’s D30 eons back. Unfortunately, I relented to temptation 3 years back when I got the 10D. Back then till now, I am waiting for the release of a FULL-FRAME DSLR in a ‘relatively’ compact size. I find those high-end models with built in vertical grip 1st - ugly, 2nd and most importantly too bulky and heavy.

I though that Nikon would go the full-frame format first which would meant I need to switch system again… but when they start releasing a slew of ‘digital lenses’ I realised that they might not be going in that direction. In fact all the major camera manufacturer show lack of interest in producing full frame units. Even Canon was producing 1.3 crop factor for their newer flagship versions… all seems lost for a full 35mm frame dslr.

Imagine my surprise and excitement when I came across this review of the EOS 5D this morning! Check it out at this link. So I guess an upgrade will be in the pipeline over the next 2 years.

Seems like I’m back into photography again…

Renovating Hi-fi pages (again!). Just spicing up the ‘look’ to give it a more magazine feel.
Also, correcting some very bad grammar and sentences - only beneficial to new visitors, I doubt repeat visitors would go through all the pages again.

Have been really busy lately with some personal stuff and cataloging my entire cd collection into electronic form. Check it out.

For once, there’s no new addition of pix as lately, I’ve not been to any places worth photographing… plus the weather here is so HOT :(, not very favourable for walking with heavy photographic equipment… I have yet to start on my photography project of visually recording life in S’pore.
